5th Annual Ladies Freedom Ride

I have been photographing a group of women motorcyclists from Ohio and West Virginia for the past 3 years and joining them on their Annual Ladies Freedom Ride. This year they celebrated their 5th trip. We had a blast to say the least. The trip's destination changes every year and this year we went to Sandusky, Ohio for Bike week. We encountered many characters along the way, checked out some cool spots like 2 Cans, and there was even some mechanical bull-riding going on. You can see for yourself in the images below. 

It was a memorable trip as always so it was huge shock to hear that Danny Gilman, a great supporter of the ladies and boyfriend of one of the riders was in an accident in July and passed away. At the end of the trips he would be there to meet Missy at the Harley shop in Athens, Ohio. The trips are strictly ladies only, but Danny came up this last trip for a day to be beside Missy and he was welcomed with open arms. He was warm, inviting and had a great smile. They both had grins ear to ear the whole time and you could see the love that radiated between these two.
