Summer Summer Time

Summer is here and it is HOT! I love the warm weather but humidity stay away pleeeeaaasssee! The past couple of months I have been busy photographing in the Bronx for my master's project, covered a shelter in Hempstead, NY and events such as the AIDS Walk NY for the American Red Cross. I also did some shots for Medleez Collection a great, local, custom clothing line. I love to branch out and try new things. I am glad I did because the shoot was so much fun! Ippies awards 2012 and more

This past week I picked up an Ippies award that a group of us at The Indypendent received! We were awarded 3rd place for Best Photo Essay or Online Slideshow for the piece We Contain Multitudes. It was such a nice surprise! The past few months have been busy with shooting at the American Red Cross, for the Indy, Freddy's bar, my master's project about the DREAM Act and more. View some photos below. Yesterday was a gorgeous sunny day and today is monsoon day??? But I bet we need all this rain plus it helps keep me indoors...for at least a little bit and I get to update my blog ;) Stay dry!
